Wheaton R2P 2.0 Cell Culture Roller Apparatus

The Wheaton R2P 2.0 Modular Roller Apparatus allows large-scale propagation of monolayer cell cultures in standard glass and plastic roller bottles. Extra decks can be added to existing units as modular requirements expand – up to 9 decks total. This apparatus has 2 decks with 10 bottle positions.

The Wheaton Modular Roller Apparatus uses a powerful DC gear motor and can accommodate bottles 108-121 mm in diameter and up to 550 mm in length, with a bottle speed range of 0.25 to 5.3 rpm assuming 110 mm bottles.

If short roller bottles are utilized, twice as many bottles may be placed on the apparatus. To provide ease of operation, all controls are conveniently located on the front panel. A locking speed control prevents accidental changes in drive speed, while a reference meter permits replication of speed settings. The Wheaton R2P 2.0 bottom drive also features a USB downloadable system event log for accurate process documentation. The R2P 2.0 roller apparatus contains a unique colour touch screen, enabling intuitive operation with gloved hands and also offering good distance visibility.
