Short Path Distillation Apparatus Kit (20L)

Short path distillation (molecular distillation) is a thermal separation processes for heat sensitive products. Short residence time and low evaporation temperature will cause minimal thermal stress to the distilled product and consequently a very gentle distillation. Heating mantle seen in photos is for demonstration purposes only - NOT included. This distillation kit includes:

1 x 20L flat-bottom 2-neck boiling flask with 24/40 ST joints

1 x 500mm Graham condenser with 24/40 ST joints

1 x QuickFit FR1L/3S/22A 3-neck 1000mL round-bottom flask with one vertical 24/29 centre neck and two angled 19/26 side necks

1 x stainless-steel lab jack with 6" x 6" platform (full height: 10.5")

1 x Corning PYREX 8980-24 3-way 75° connecting adapter with thermometer opening

1 x Corning PYREX 9020-24 3-way 120° connecting adapter

2 x Fisherbrand 14-997 thermometers (-20° to 110°C)

1 x WP support stand with finger clamp (rod is 23"H)

1 x Shur-Safe (Cenco) 12445-602 cork ring - 140mm OD
