The DILUMAT S is an easy-to-use diluter. Obtaining a mother dilution of solid and semi-solid samples is the first step in microbiological analysis. This step’s accuracy therefore affects the outcome of the entire analysis. The manual method requires a long, tedious process of weighing the sample, using many bottles of diluent (ex. one per sample).

The Dilumat S allows this step to be secure, optimized, and automated. The user can quickly insert the sample quantity. The Dilumat S accurately weighs it and adds exactly the right amount of diluent for the desired dilution factor. The Dilumat S can be connected to a larger volume of diluent (glass bottles; sterile pockets or diluent processor). The LCD screen is user friendly. Its icons help you to understand the various menus and features.

The simplified keyboard allows the device to be operated quickly. The automatic rotating arm enables you to start the dilution automatically, ensuring that the distribution nozzle is protected against manual contamination - completely comes apart from the bag’s opening and eliminates cross-contamination between samples.

The quick-load pump guarantees a reproducible distribution. Its placement in the front of the device makes it easier to insert tubes.

The DILUMAT S is compact so that it can be set up under laminar flow hoods. The accuracy of the DILUMAT S fully meets the recommendations under the ISO 7218 and ISO 6887-1 international standards. The DILUMAT S can dilute your 25g sample in about 15 seconds. The solid cover allows for easy maintenance, excellent resistance to cleaning products, and durability for your Dilumat S. The 2nd pump option can easily be installed, if desired.

The printer option allows for greater traceability. The bar code reader option can be added to increase the simplicity and speed of use. The DILUMAT S can be connected to a PC to retrieve data.
