Molecular Devices L-Max Microplate Reader

The Lmax is a microplate luminometer with Windows PC- or Macintosh-based control and data handling software designed for the measurement of chemi- and bio-luminesence. Applications include assays for single and dual luciferase reporter genes, ATP, dsDNA, aequorin-Ca++, and luminescence-based ELISA. The system combines the sensitivity, dynamic range, and sample throughput of a dedicated 96/384-well microplate luminometer with the powerful and easy to use SOFTmax PRO for Lmax software (NOT INCLUDED). Ultra-fast photon counting technology for reduced noise and elimination of the need to calibrate throughout the linear range. Jet injector technology provides virtually instantaneous mixing and improved flash kinetic data. SOFTmax PRO for Lmax software controls the instrument, data collection, and data reduction. With the Lmax luminometer there is no need to export to spreadsheet programs.

NOTE: Injector tips on the reading head need to be replaced. Unit appears functional otherwise, but we are unable to fully test - selling AS-IS, for parts.
