Thermolyne Locator Jr Cryogenic Storage System (50L)

The Thermolyne Locator Jr features a unique hanging rack and gridded box design which allow tracking and easy retrieval of samples. The Locator Jr. is suited for both manual and computerized inventory record-keeping methods. The advanced vacuum insulation minimizes liquid nitrogen evaporation and reduces operating costs. It features unbeatable temperature uniformity which assures all samples are stored below -180°C, even when the vessel contains less than 5cm liquid nitrogen. Additionally, unlike mechanical systems, the Locator Jr. LN2 storage tank is designed to offer consistent temperatures even when electricity is lost. Samples remain protected much longer during power outages than alternative technologies so the need to locate backup storage and relocate samples is dramatically reduced or even eliminated. The compact size of this vessel easily fits into any lab. Secure locking hasp prevents unauthorized entry. Furnished without (optional) liquid nitrogen level monitor which safeguards valuable samples.
