MP Bio FastPrep 24 5G offers a quick and efficient method of homogenizing, grinding, or lysing even the toughest samples. This Fast Prep 24 sample preparation system has a unique shaking method in tri-dimensional motions creating a collision with the lysing matrix particles. This self-contained homogenizer eliminates the risk of cross-contamination by placing samples in individual lysing matrix tubes and sample holders.

The Fast Prep 24 is compatible with All FastDNA Kits, FastRNA Pro Kits, FastRNA Spin Kits, FastProtein Kits, and other kits containing standard 2.0 mL screw-cap tubes, purification kits, and chemistries. This tissue homogenizer is easy to use with onboard software and touchscreen navigation that guides users through setup and programming, with pre-defined parameters or custom protocols. This FastPrep-24 5G is ideal for all sample types including plant, tissue, bacteria, fungi, soil, feces, and insect, and can break down hard or brittle samples, lysis high contagious samples, or grind down teeth, bones and pulverize building materials.
