Dionex ICS-2100 Ion Chromatograph

The Dionex ICS-2100 system is the first Reagent-Free ion chromatography system with electrolytic sample preparation (RFIC-ESP system) and eluent generation (RFIC-EG system) capabilities. Designed to perform all types of electrolytically generated isocratic and gradient IC separations using conductivity detection, it fully supports microbore 2mm columns as well as standard bore 4 mm columns. The ICS-2100 RFIC-ESP system now provides automation for many automated sample preparation techniques with multiple valving configurations and support for electrolytic sample preparation devices.

The ICS-2100 system provides high performance with unequalled ease of use when coupled with an AutoSuppression device. The Dionex Chromeleon Chromatography Data System provides full control and digital data collection from a PC using simple USB connectivity (software is NOT included).

The EGC III KOH (potassium hydroxide) is used to prevent baseline shift, increase sensitivity, improve resolution, and ensure consistent peak integration by using eluent generation. Eluent generation eliminates the need to handle acids and bases, which are traditionally required for the preparation of IC eluents, and allows chromatographers to run a full range of gradient and isocratic separations more effectively than hand-made eluents. The Potassium Hydroxide cartridge (not included) is intended for use with traditional RFIC-EG systems up to 3000 psi. Dionex EGC III cartridges support a concentration range of 0.1–100mM (0.1–80mM EGC III LiOH) at 1.0mL/min.
