SMI 2600 Multi-Tube Vortex Mixer

The SMI 2600 Multi-tube Vortexer is used for hands-off vortexing or shaking of up to 50 tubes or three 96-well, micro-assay plates at once. Tube racks as large as 18 x 30 cm (7 x 12") handle a variety of tube sizes up to 180 mm in. length. The Vortexer also mixes single, large containers such as flasks. Use the SMI Multi-tube Vortexer for problem emulsion samples or other biomedical or petroleum applications requiring fast, vigorous, uniform mixing.

A solid-state electronic control provides adjustable speed from 1200 to 2400 cycles per minute and automatic timer adjustable from 0 to 60 seconds, for simple repeat procedures. The conveniently angled front panel features main power switch/speed control stepless adjustable timer, continuous/ off/time control switch. Solid-steel post hold tube support plate securely for quiet, rattle-free mixing; easily adjustable, weighted for automatic pressure control. Constructed of rugged steel with two-coat corrosion-resistant paint. One-seventh hp universal motor with ball-bearing mount. Suction cup feet dam pen motion and prevent sliding on work surface.
