Merck LiChrospher Si-60 (LiChroCART 125-4) HPLC Cartridge - 12.5cm x 4mm x 5µm

The LiChrospher Si 60 cartridge is a versatile HPLC spherical silica sorbent with a pore diameter of 60A and a particle size of 5µm for normal phase chromatography: This sorbent is packed into a LiChroCART 125-4 HPLC cartridge.

The connection to the HPLC system is accomplished by use of the manu-CART NT cartridge holder. With LiChroCART cartridges the user works with re-usable endfittings which fit different cartridge lengths. Since these cartridge holders may remain in the system and the capillary connections do not need to be detached, the cartridges may be changed within the shortest possible time. Changing a separation cartridge from a length of 125 to 250 mm and back presents no problems. Furthermore, the adaptation of internal diameter (3 mm or 2 mm) to the analysis problem is possible within a few minutes. The endfittings are designed to allow the cartridges to be hand-sealed at normal working pressures of 150 to 200 bar without the need for any tools. Only at higher pressures may further tightening with a wrench become necessary.
